Linda had the Friday morning class over to
celebrate St. Lucia's Day. I never felt so catered to in such a
comfortable way. Linda has a loving relationship to her house and it
shows. |
Here are some pictures of Linda's party
and one of her bathroom. As wonderful as the party was, I was very
tempted to disappear and take a bath!

This little structure outside is the
resident elf's house. He lives there year round. He's not very
sociable, but he is very tolerant. He had no trouble with six of the
big people peering into his home and taking pictures, and when I
wrote a note to him apologizing, he wrote back and invited me to
visit in the spring when the flowers are blooming. |

"Recently two students in
my Wednesday night class completed drafts of their novels - so
naturally we had a party with, to quote Aggie, "creativity,
camaraderie, champagne and chocolate," her personal 4C's. I have to
concur. Aggie also baked the cake. She has a wicked sense of humor
(visit Student Pages on this website for
links to her and other's work) and made up the bestseller list.
Should any of these authors visit my website (doubtful) my apologies
go out to them for the fun we had, and they can take that to the
bank. Congratulations to Becky and Evonne!" |

Just before A BROOM OF
ONES OWN was published my Wednesday night class threw me a surprise
party, complete with champagne, cake, prezzies and good cheer. This
wall hanging was one of my prezzies. It was made by Aggie Stachura
and her husband Lee Tobin. And I love it! Aggie also made the cake,
which looked great and tasted wonderful. No naked publisher for my
next book jumped out of it though. |
